Welcome to Newnan and Coweta County.  I think you will find that we have the best of both worlds.  We have the small town atmosphere in which to raise your children while being close enough to Atlanta to enjoy all of its amenities less than an hour away.  I was born and raised in Newnan, Georgia and am a 1973 graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA degree and a Major in Real Estate.  I have been in real estate full time in Newnan since starting in 1973.  I served as the Principal Broker for Lindsey's, Inc. since 1978 until 2019.  I am currently an Associate Broker with Lindsey's, Inc.  I have exceeded $1,000,000 in real estate sales every year since 1973.  I have twice served as President of the local Board of Realtors and am a former Regional Vice President of the Georgia Association of Realtors.  I was awarded the Phoenix Award from the local Board of Realtors in 1999 and the Crystal Phoenix award in 2010. In 2026, I was awarded the Platinum Phoenix.  I obtained the Graduate Realtors Institute designation in 1974. I am also a past president of the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce, and the United Way, twice president of the Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors and former Regional Vice President of the Georgia Association of Realtors and past president of the Newnan Kiwanis Club and Lt. Governor of Division 23 of the Georgia District of Kiwanis. I was named Coweta County Man of the Year in 1980.  I am a former member of the Wesley Woods Foundation for 10 years and a former board member of the Heritage School and The Summit YMCA.  I also serve as an active member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church.  I was also selected as the 2014 Citizen Of The Year for Newnan and Coweta County. In 2019, I was named as the first member of the Newnan Coweta Board of Realtors Hall of Fame. 

I am married to the former Doris Griffin of Newnan and have one son, Frank H. Barron, Jr. (Jess), one step daughter and son-in-law, Jenni and Bob Blackburn of Newnan, one step son and daughter-in-law, Vic and Kim Ivery, of Newnan, a granddaughter, Braelinn Barron, two step grandchildren, Matt and Tori Blackburn and three step great-grandsons, Bo and Banks Blackburn and Charlie Owens.
